The Group believes - "If you give a hungry man fish one day, he will eat it. The next day, he will be starving again. Instead, if you teach him to fish, he will never go hungry during his lifetime." As a result, the group has created workshops to educate people, help them learn the different trades and make them self-sustainable. The company has also created employment for the people living around the plant and has also adopted small villages in and around the area.
The Group believes in ploughing back a portion of its profit into meaningful welfare driven initiatives that make a qualitative difference to the lives of a marginalized people. The Group has sponsored various charitable events over the past years and invariably donated food & clothing to disaster affected people & those in need. We have also been part of Rural Education Program as we feel that education is the universal and predominant driving force in every rural household.
In the year 2007, the Group has opened its very own charitable hospital which is being run by a reputed organization namely – Swami Vivekananda and provides free health check ups and medicines for the poor and needy people who come from far away villages. The Hospital caters to around 600 people a day through its network of doctors and has been a huge success for the people in the Area.
The Group has also donated money towards creating a better living for pilgrims in the holy places and is always striving to make a difference. Our community work is a way of telling the people among whom we operate that we care for you. This also keeps the Group close to its humble beginning and rooted to its vision of becoming a GLOBAL player that makes a difference to the society by remaining commited to our roots and through creation of VALUE
